Peter Fuller has worked in many industries and many companies. As an executive team member with publicly traded and start-up companies, Peter has helped CEOs and management define and implement strategic visions. During that time, he helped launch two industry associations, founded two companies, raised series A capital, and was involved with two successful acquisitions. He has aided prior management in the market launch of nearly a dozen companies backed by Greylock, Cardinal, WorldView, Interwest Partners, True Ventures and others. He's served on executive teams funded by Sequoia Capital, Alloy Ventures, USVP, and CMGI. Peter is currently a co-founder and VP of Marketing and Business Development at Scale Computing. Scale was recently declared one of "America's Most Promising Companies" by Forbes magazine. In 2000, he founded the Internet Measurement Initiative to help create a common metric for measuring Internet traffic. In 2001, he helped the IAB form the Mobile Marketing Association and became its first Executive Director and Honorary Board Member. The MMA now has over 650 member companies representing the world's top brands and entertainment companies from more than 40 countries. Peter was instrumental in defining the mobile industry’s first code of conduct that protected consumers from receiving unsolicited messages on their cell phone. In 2002, he joined the board of Hands of Hope Africa, a start-up organization that provides homes, meals, clothing and education for children orphaned by AIDS. It began with a $30,000 budget and now spends more than $700,000 annually in Zimbabwe. Through these experiences, Peter defined, refined and tested his process for managing people and aligning their motivations toward common, well-communicated strategic objectives. His 2.5 day strategic off-sites, now core to the pioniq Praxis, helped define the strategy and execution plans for ESPN Mobile Publishing, Zoove, Symphoniq, Scale Computing and several other companies.
